Bring nature in
I´ve been wanting a daybed for a long time, so when I saw Reykjavik daybed from Skagerak Denmark I just fell in love. My kind of stylish design.
The bed frame is made from solid German Douglas Pine from Dinesen...material love. The Douglas pine is a big favorite of mine, love the organic look of nature. Bring nature in, it gives a warmth and life to the interior…this gorgeous daybed is a good example of that.
The daybed is designed by Included Middle and inspired by the colours and distinctive architecture on Iceland.
Great quality, colormix and details
You can choose to either have it with or without a mattress, I chose to go with the mattress. It has such a great quality, colormix, details and a woollen upholstery. Easy to change the colour balance by flipping over the mattress, so you can used it both ways. A great and unexpected detail…loooove that.
Easy to make your own expression by changing the fabric.
If you want to add a personal touch to the mattress, you can as I have done, use another fabric. I've only attached it with safety pins underneath, so I can easily change it back whenever I want...and as you can see it gets a completely different expression.
